i just told Emery that today was Dexter's birthday and she got a really sad look on her face and said, "i really miss Dexter. i wish we could call him but we can't. i'm gonna dream about him tonight."
Oh Monette, what a sweet boy you had/have. I remember that tender time so well, since I had a baby also during his little lifetime. I don't know what to say, except, "I love you and think you are amazing."
What a beautiful headstone (and a darling boy in front of it!) I am choked up thinking of you and your sweet Dexter on the other side. His time on earth is tender in my memory too because of how beautifully you shared your experience on your blog. Even in your grief, you taught me greatly. Thinking of you!
What a sweet picture, and what sweet memories of little Dexter it brings. I'm so glad we lived close then so I could snuggle with the little guy and feel of his spirit, and then witness the amazing trust and strength of my little sister as well. Love you, Nin . . .
It's hard to imagine it's been that long. What a sweet remembrance of a sweet and perfect little boy. I look forward to meeting that great spirit some day!

I echo the comments left already. I love the fitting sentiment on the headstone- what a reminder for all of us. It makes my heart tender in many ways.
And look at that darling chubby-cheeked little one you have! Adorable.
