All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.
God, our Maker, doth provide for our wants to be supplied.
Come, ye thankful children, come! Raise the song of harvest home!
Aaron is definitely one of those thankful children. When a volunteer squash was taking over our back garden, he just couldn't yank it up because he saw it as a gift directly from God. And when we harvested all of this plus a couple buckets more from the squash we didn't plant, Aaron did not regret that decision. His gratitude for this abundance is so sweet and childlike. "Just look at all of this food!" We are definitely enjoying the bounty of fall. We hope all of you are feeling abundantly blessed this season, too!

AMAZING!!! That is some compost you have!
Wow! That is a LOT of squash! Compost piles are the best part of the yard. Our pumpkins still haven't turned completely orange yet though. I think they're not getting as much sun in that spot as they used to. Fall is a very happy time!
Oh, and I'm sorry to hear about all of your house troubles. They never seem to go away, do they? :)
house troubles? what house troubles?
that is SOME pile of squash! amazing! wanna come out and plant our garden for us this spring?
What great fall decor too.
What? No 50 pounds of onions? And if anyone knows how to use every bit of squash, it would be you. It blew my mind that you cooked pumpkin and pureed it with the skin on! And it tasted good in muffins, too. Don't worry, I'll post my pumpkin pasta sauce recipe soon.
Who knew what a fabulous crop a few stray seeds could yield!
Holy smokes! You are amazing gardeners! Our garden did not produce much aside from like 8 zucchini this year :( You are inspirational!!
