Happy New Year, friends and family!

2023 sees us looking back over our shoulders at the end of a glorious era: having all of our children under one roof! 

Xander graduated high school 

and worked on a commercial fishing boat, a riverboat, and a cruise ship before he flew off to serve the people of New Zealand as a missionary. 

Before he left, we maximized our Alaska family adventuring this summer lashed together on Root Glacier 

and smashed together through Atigun pass. Evelyn started kindergarten and Monette started substitute teaching. A momentous year!
