Little Dexter's Birthday

We celebrated Dexter's birthday tonight. There were certainly a few tears, especially while we watched the movie I made of Dexter's little life, but mostly I just enjoyed remembering. What a precious gift he is. I am so glad that he got to come to our family and that I had the privilege of providing him with the physical body that he needed for his eternal progression. How deeply and inexpressibly grateful we are for our knowledge of God's eternal plan. And how determined we feel to keep our covenants that we might be worthy of the great promises! Families can be together forever!

We love you guys!

p.s. I was so going to send out Christmas cards this year (even had them printed!) but the sending didn't so much happen! Know that you were on our list! :)

A sweet friend form my ward made that cake for us, wasn't that thoughtful of her? And it meant that I didn't have to squeeze baking a cake into my schedule yesterday! We have the best ward family!

Oh Monette, Dexter is lucky to have you and Aaron as his parents. What a sweet boy. We love you!

We were thinking of Dexter yesterday, too. I told my girls when I tucked them in that you probably had a birthday party for him. When Corinne said her prayer she said, "Please bless Dexter and President Hinckley that they can be resurrected soon." We love you!

Thanks for sharing, Monette. Just the other day I was thinking about Dexter and your family, and trying to remember when he was born.

What a sweet and perfect little spirit. As difficult as this past year must have been, what a privilege to have been chosen as his parents.
